With the growing global awareness of sustainability and the increasing demand for sustainable travel, Cross Hotel has applied for the "Sakura Quality Green" certification, aiming to become a lodging facility that customers can choose with confidence by acquiring a third-party certification. We have applied for the "Sakura Quality Green" certification, which is one of the many sustainability certifications available for lodging facilities.
Among a number of sustainability certifications for lodging facilities, we selected "Sakura Quality Green," which is a certification for lodging facilities based in Japan that is assessed in Japanese and has a high level of international recognition.
Sakura Quality Green is a quality certification system operated by Sakura Quality Management Co. The assessment consists of 172 items based on the 17 goals of the SDGs.
The three Cross Hotels received the "4 Goromo Kozakura" rating, which is the second highest of five ratings and is considered to indicate "positive involvement in the natural environment and society.
CROSS HOTEL KYOTO was the first lodging facility in Kyoto Prefecture to receive the "4 Goromoizakura" rating. CROSS HOTEL SAPPORO and CROSS HOTEL OSAKA are the second hotels in their respective cities to receive this certification.
